Adriatic boat of the Year 2015

For the third year in a row, in cooperation with Internautica, magazines MORE and Navtika plus are organizing the Adriatic Boat of the Year 2015 competition. They will award the most interesting and innovative boats that reflect the spirit of the Adriatic Aquatorium, according to the Slovenian and Croatian jury of experts.

Adriatic Boat of the Year 2015 selection will include all boats that were manufactured and presented in the Adriatic region, from 1 January 2014 till 1 April 2015.

Sailing Boats:

1. CRUISER UP TO 40 FEET
2. CRUISER OVER 41 UP TO 60 FEET
3. PERFORMANCE UP TO 40 FEET
4. PERFORMANCE OVER 41 UP TO 60 FEET
5. SAILBOAT OVER 60 FEET
6. DAYSAILER

Motor Boats:

1. DINGHY
2. SPORT MOTORBOAT UP TO 20 FEET
3. SPORT MOTORBOAT OVER 21 UP TO 40 FEET
4. MOTOR YACHT UP TO 40 FEET
5. MOTOR YACHT OVER 41 UP TO 50 FEET
6. MOTOR YACHT OVER 51 FEET

 

Special Categories

+ ADRIATIC PRODUCT OF THE YEAR – motorboat or sailing boat manufactured in the Adriatic region (ITA, SLO, CRO, MN)

+ ADRIATIC NAUTICAL PROJECT OF THE YEAR – innovations, new technologies, ecology etc.

 
Scoring system: from 1 point to 10 points; every jury member can give a boat the appropriate number of points, thus it is not necessary that the best in the category receives 10 points. The highest number of points equals 1st place etc. In case two or more boats from the same category share the same number of points, the jury will conduct a parallel scoring among nominees with the same score from the first round of voting.
  
JURY OF EXPERTS
The Slovenian-Croatian jury of experts comprises ten members, five from each country.

Nikola Orešković

Ozren Bakrač
